Fieldwork in Tanzania (Maarten Mous)
From 5-20th March 2023 Maarten Mous accompanied Didier Demolin on a research trip to Tanzania. They did phonetic research on the Mbugu nasals in the Usambara mountains with Michael Karani of DSM university; checked Iraqw number marking on nouns and adjectival number expression with Basilisa Hhao in Arusha and videoed lip movements of Iraqw labials with three speakers.
